Personal Info
We feel it's good to know who you are doing business with, where they came from, perhaps where they hope to go, but as importantly, or perhaps more so, is what can they offer you that will make the time you spend together productive & enjoyable.

Originally from Florida and having worked my way so far north that I was just an hour south of the Canadian border, I feel as though I have found my way “home”, among the peaceful mountains in Western North Carolina. Along that way I spent a few years in Texas, 18 years in the DC area and 13 years in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Having been a small business owner for many years as well as a Real Estate Broker in northern New Hampshire, I feel my greatest strength lies in my sincere desire to help my clients and customers achieve their goal. Having a “don’t worry, we’ll get there” approach to their needs and objectives has served me well, regardless of the venue.
Keeping a balanced view of the local Real Estate Market, I not only list & market properties to be SOLD, but also represent Buyers as an Accredited Buyers Representative. The ABR designation requires many hours of additional training and means I am well trained in all the nuances of working with Buyers and representing their best interests. As a Certified Residential Specialist, I have committed many hours to additional training and have accomplished the necessary residential sales to earn the CRS designation. Last year I became a Senior Real Estate Specialist-SRES, thus giving me a better insight of what buyers require as they begin to age. This year, I've added NAR's newest designation, the GREEN designation, focuses on living and selling a more sustainable lifestyle, as well as becoming an ASP, an Accredited Home Stager. Across the country, home staging helps sellers sell more quickly, often for more money.
While real estate can be a 24/7 commitment, I do take time to hike and am an avid walker, a novice flyfisher-person and have just begun to learn yoga. Having been a baker with a cafe & ice cream business, I still enjoy cooking and love to entertain. When I do finally get home, Frannie, my little black feline friend keeps me company.
Volunteering at Habitat for Humanity & various other venues allows me to feel as though I help give back, at least a little, to those to allow me to do what I enjoy most.
Whether you are looking at real estate as a Buyer or as a Seller, this is my profession, this is what I do and I’m dedicated to offering you the type of service you deserve…THE BEST!

I’ve been a resident of the Asheville area since 1991, having relocated from NJ and appreciate living here more each day.
My previous career of over 25 years was in the Logistics field, but decided after living here for a while, I needed a new adventure in my life so….
My real estate career began in Asheville, and along the way have earned a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of The REALTORS Institute (GRI) and NAR Green Sustainable Property designations. I was also the 2008 President of the Western North Carolina chapter of The Women's Council of Realtors and founding member.
Having a background in log home construction, it seemed only natural to specialize in the marketing of existing log and timber frame homes. Being a “Baby Boomer” myself, I recently moved to a maintenance free community that allows to enjoy my “free” time. From there I have become the resident expert of these types of condos and townhouses.
My clientele is generally the "Baby Boomer" generation that is looking for that special place to call home. I enjoy meeting and working with folks from all walks of life and calling them friends not just clients when it’s all said and done.
Outside of real estate my husband and I enjoy spending time exploring "off the beaten path" places in WNC. I am involved in our community as I am on the Buncombe County Nursing Home Advisory Council; helping the elderly is near and dear to my heart. We are also the proud pet-parents to three cats- Smokie, Prissy and Coco.
